Deadline: September 30th, 2023

Previous Recipients

2022-2023 Winner: Victoria Obst

Victoria is a Paramedic student at Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland, WI, working toward completing her Associate’s degree. She has worked as an EMT at Aurora and as a Firefighter/EMT on the Jackson Fire Department for two years. She has a B.S. of Mechanical Engineering from MSOE, however, her passion has always been healthcare. Her long term goals include working for her fire department as a paramedic, and eventually pursuing medical school. She also recently welcomed her daughter, Ariella, into her family and has both navigated motherhood while also attending school, obtaining her clinical hours, and working for her departments.

I am extremely thankful to the WEMSA Foundation for the generous scholarship they have awarded me, which will allow me to continue my education so that I may obtain my long term goals.
